"Tales of the Nomadic City“ ist eine experimentelle Zusammenstellung aus 10 Jahren Sammlung von Film-, Ton- und Fotoaufnahmen in Kombination mit Archivmaterial aus offiziellen und volkstümlichen Archiven. Der Film zeichnet die Geschichte der Stadt Nouakchott in der Islamischen Republik Mauretanien nach.
"Tales of the Nomadic City’ is as experimental assemblage of more than 10 years of recorded film, sound and photographs in combination with archival material from official and vernacular archives. The film chronicles the history of the city of Nouakchott in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
Die Ausstellung ist Teil der DOK-Neuland Ausstellung FLUXUSOPOLIS:
Willkommen in Fluxusopolis - der Stadt des Wandels, in der nichts so bleibt, wie es ist.
