Film & Protest

Bereits seit vier Jahren veranstalten das Hannah-Arendt-Institut für Totalitarismusforschung (HAIT) und die Cinémathèque Leipzig die gemeinsame Filmreihe "Film und Protest", die sich mit der filmischen Darstellung von Widerstand und Opposition gegen autoritäre und diktatorische Regime in Geschichte und Gegenwart befasst. In diesem Herbst stehen Filme im Mittelpunkt der Reihe, die sich mit künstlerischem Protest auseinandersetzen.

For four years now, the Hannah Arendt Institute for Totalitariarianism Studies (HAIT) in Dresden and the Cinémathèque Leipzig have been presenting the joint film series "Film and Protest," which explores the cinematic portrayal of resistance and opposition to authoritarian and dictatorial regimes, both past and present. This autumn, the series focuses on films that address artistic protest.
