Ab dem 5. Februar legen wir bis zum Ende des Monats eine Spielpause ein, um uns zentralen Fragen über die Zukunft der Cinémathèque zu widmen.
Das vergangene Jahr hatte durch eine Vielzahl von Ereignissen, angefangen bei der unsicheren Haushaltslage, über die fehlende zweite Spielstätte, bis zum Aus für unsere Vision vom Filmkunsthaus, weitreichende Folgen für die Cinémathèque und macht es notwendig, dass wir uns selbst befragen: Wie gestalten wir zukünftig unser Programm? Wo können und wollen wir es umsetzen? Und wie kann es finanziert werden?
Wir haben viele Ideen und Wünsche, die wir in den kommenden Wochen besprechen.
Unser Programm startet wieder am 1. März.

From February 5 until the end of the month, we will be taking a break from screening films in order to address key questions about the future of the Cinémathèque.
The past year has had far-reaching consequences for the Cinémathèque due to a variety of events, ranging from the uncertain funding by the comune and state paired with the lack of a second venue, to the end of ourlongterm vision and plan to build the Filmkunsthaus, making it necessary for us to ask ourselves: How will we shape our program in the future? Where can and do we want to implement it? And how can it be financed?
We have many ideas and wishes that we will discuss in the coming weeks.
Our program will start again on March 1.
