Der 21. Dezember ist nicht nur der kürzeste Tag des Jahres, sondern auch Kurzfilmtag. Zu diesem zeigen wir alle Filme unseres Programms SOFT PROBLEMS geballt an einem Abend. Sie spiegeln auf der Leinwand eine Erde, in welcher die Technik den Menschen bedient, Singles ihr Leben riskieren, um nicht allein zu sein und künstlich erzeugte Bedürfnisse ins schier Unendliche gesteigert werden.
Nach den Krisen und rasanten Veränderungen der letzten Jahre bleiben Ängste, sowie Gefühle der Isolation und Entfremdung in einer distanzierten Gesellschaft zurück.
Gleichzeitig gewinnen Werte wie Kooperationsfähigkeit, Nachhaltigkeit und Empathie wieder an Bedeutung.
Ein kurzweiliger, aber hoffentlich nachdrücklicher Abend mit vielen Trickfilmen, einer Einführung, Gesprächen mit Filmemacher*innen und überraschenden, partizipativen Elementen - moderiert und kuratiert von der Leipziger Trickfilmerin Susann Arnold (LÆ nimation).
Die Veranstaltung findet anlässlich des internationalen 12. Kurzfilmtages statt, der von der AG Kurzfilm und dem Bundesverband Deutscher Kurzfilm koordiniert wird.
December 21 is not only the shortest day of the year, but also Short Film Day. On this occasion we will show all films of our program SOFT PROBLEMS in one evening. They reflect on the screen an earth in which technology uses man, singles risk their lives in order not to be alone, and artificially generated needs are increased to almost infinity.
After the crises and rapid changes of recent years, fears remain, as well as feelings of isolation and alienation in a distanced society.
At the same time, values such as the ability to cooperate, sustainability and empathy are gaining in importance again.
An short, but hopefully emphatic evening with many animated films, an introduction, conversations with filmmakers* and surprising, participatory elements - moderated and curated by Leipzig based animator Susann Arnold (LÆ nimation).
The event takes place on the occasion of the 12th International Short Film Day, which is coordinated by the AG Kurzfilm and the Bundesverband Deutscher Kurzfilm.
