Unter dem Motto „Wachstumsschmerzen“ widmet sich das Chinesische Filmfestival CHAI 拆 vom 2. bis 4. Mai 2024 der Vielfalt der chinesischen, taiwanesischen, tibetischen und kantonesischen Lebensrealitäten. Es möchte authentische Einblicke in Gesellschaften geben, die mit dem Zusammenprall ihrer eigenen Traditionen und der rasanten Entwicklung der Moderne ringen – ebenso wie in die Herzen ihrer Menschen.
Only those who open themselves to pain can allow their hearts to blossom. Under the motto "Throes of growth", the Chinese Film Festival CHAI 拆 from May 2 to 4, 2024 is dedicated to the diversity of Chinese, Taiwanese, Tibetan and Cantonese realities of life. It aims to provide authentic insights into societies that are struggling with the clash of their own traditions and the rapid development of modernity - as well as into the hearts of their people.
